During my stay, I loved the short stroll to Burnby Hall Gardens, which provided a beautiful escape into nature, and the convenience of numerous eateries just a few steps away, making it easy to grab a bite after a day of exploring. as a solo traveler, I appreciated the friendly staff who were always ready to help with directions and recommendations, enhancing my overall experience.

The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and quiet environment for a restful night. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including delicious farm-to-table products, although the service struggled with the breakfast crowd, leading to delays in food replenishment. While I appreciated the cleanliness and the pleasant ambiance, the noise from the adjacent rooms did disrupt my peace occasionally.

Simply amazing hospitality!
We had an unforgettable evening before our wedding. Irene was a total gem, making everything feel super special! The custom menu was a hit, and the vibe was just right. Niamh was awesome too, taking care of us all night. The only bummer was having to cancel our picnic due to rain. Loved the cozy pub atmosphere for drinks after!

It was just a fine choice for a hurried visit in Pocklington with good value for money. The breakfast was good, though the lone waitress was doing her best to manage all the tables. Make sure to ask for extra supplies early on if you're staying short.
